Matteo Grillo is an Italian visual artist based in Milan. His practice moves between painting and digital image-making, exploring themes of identity, belonging and urban memory.

After studying Communication at IULM University and Media Design & Multimedia Arts at NABA in Milan, his research progressively shifted toward painting, with a focus on figurative language and contemporary urban landscapes.

He is currently developing the series Belongings, an ongoing body of work dedicated to Milan and its emotional landscapes, which will be presented in a future exhibition.
